Oh, it's as far from boring as possible! It's my favorite of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. I actually love EVERY single ride and show at EPCOT, unlike at the other four theme parks. EPCOT is huge. There's so much to do. The park is split into two "worlds," Future World and the World Showcase. The first thing you'll see when you enter EPCOT is the Geosphere (the giant "golf ball"). It's quite breathtaking. Inside is one of my favorite rides at Walt Disney World, Spaceship Earth. Ellen's Energy Adventure is a sort of show/ride. It's a different sort of attraction, but I really enjoy it. I think Ellen's hilarious. Then there's Mission: SPACE. It's an extremely intense ride, but they've created a milder version. Mission: SPACE is awesome, but I recommend trying the more mild version before trying the regular version. Next is Test Track - another one of my favorites. It's like being on a GM Test Track... and not being in controll of the car at all. It's so much fun! But it's not too intense. I could ride it over and over. I love it! I also love Soarin'. Soarin' is tied with Spaceship Earth as EPCOT's most popular attraction, but Soarin' isn't a constant, slow-moving ride, so on a busy day you can expect to wait up to three hours to ride it! It's definintely worth the wait, though. Living With the Land is a fun, educational ride. It's cool, though. You get to see gardens where vegetables for the EPCOT restaurants are grown, and there are fish and baby alligator farms, too. There's a great 3-D show called "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!" It's very fun, but it can be a little scary for younger children. There's a new "Finding Nemo" ride over at the Living Seas Pavilion. Don't miss that! They have a massive aquarium with sharks, dolphins, sting rays, sea turtles, etc. Now, over to the World Showcase... well, you just have to check out each of the countries. It's so amazing! You really feel like you're in a different country. And that's where the best restaurants are, like Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada, Bistro de Paris in France, L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in Italy, Nine Dragons Restaurant in China, San Angel Inn Restaurante in Mexico, etc. There's something for everyone! There are two great rides in the World Showcase half of EPCOT, El Rio del Tiempo at the Mexico Pavilion and Maelstrom at the Norway Pavilion. They're just mild boat rides, but they're both a lot of fun. A few of the countries offer 360 degree films - I think Canada, France, and Mexico. Other countries just offer entertainment, shops, and dining, like Morocco where you can dine at Restaurant Marrakesh while watching beautiful traditional belly dancers. At night, each evening at 9:00pm, be sure to not miss IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth! It is the most incredible fireworks/pyrotechnics/lasers show! EPCOT also offers a lot of fun tours. This past summer my boyfriend and I took the Seas Aqua Tour. We got to swim in the aquarium with the sharks, sting rays, sea turtles, and other fish. It was one of the best experiences of our lives! There were even these two little girls, eight-year-old twins who participated. It was a lot of fun, and they thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Anyway, hope I could help change your opinion of EPCOT! Give it try, it's so much fun!

I love EPCOT, it is probably my favorite park, though it is really hard to choose.

I think it is really personal taste, but most of the people I know really enjoy it as well. World Showcase is a large part of the park. You are right on the water and you can go to different countries to see what they are like. There are representatives from each country that tell you a little about where they are from. In Norway they have the ride Malestrom, one time when I was there the cast member actually rode with me on the ride and talked to me about it and their country, it was really interesting to hear all they had to say.

It is also fun to do some shopping in World Showcase and also sample foods from different areas. Aside from that, it just a really nice place to look around, sit by the water, relax, etc.

The other part of the park is Future World, this is where the majority of the rides are located. Some of my favorite rides are: Spaceship Earth, Test Track and Mission Space. I also enjoy Innoventions, it is a lot of fun, there is a lot see and hands on things.

I feel that EPCOT is more enjoyable for adults, mostly because of World Showcase, but I think kids can enjoy it as well. Again, it is just personal preference.

If you have a hopper pass you can always go to the park, look around and see if you like it. If not, you can head to another park. If you don't have the hopper and you don't think you will like the park, you are better off to go to another park so that you don't spend all the money for something you don't think you will enjoy.

EPCOT is a wonderful park. My husband and I refer to it as "our chill park." It doesn't have as many rides as some of the other parks - but it makes up for it in shows and interesting sights. Visiting the countries at World Showcase can take an entire day! Talk with the Cast Members and feel free to ask them questions about their culture or background - anyone working in a country is actually from there!
EPCOT is the only park on Disney property (in my opinion) with decent food. Dine next to an enormous aquarium at the Coral Reef (a very romantic location) or enjoy authentic sushi at Japan's Teppenyaki Dining Room.
These attractions at EPCOT are also my favorites and should not be missed!
Soarin'
Mission Space
Maelstrom - Norway Pavilion
All of the countries at World Showcase
Test Track - wait until after Illuminations to ride this - no lines
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
The Seas with Nemo & Friends

No way is Epcot boring. Their are plenty of things to do and even more behind the scenes. The tour of the greenhouses is worth every penny.
Going to the different countries is also a treat. And some places like China and Norway, have things for you to do.
By the way, if you stay at the Boardwalk. or the Yacht and Beach Club, or even the Swan or Dolphin, you can walk right into Epcot making it even easier to spend the day there.

Go to allears.net and go into Theme parks then Epcot, if you look at the column on the left hand side of that page you will find links to pics and information about every attraction in Epcot.

If you enjoy other countries (architecture, dining, shopping,History, gardens etc) you will love the World Showcase. You can buy a Passporter for your kids to carry to each country and have it stamped by a cast member, many times the cast member will teach your child to say hello/goodbye in their native language.

Future World - Soarin, Test Track , Mission Space,Turtle Talk with Crush and Honey I Shrunk the Audience in 4D are not to be missed.

Epcot has plenty of attractions, but not a lot of thrill rides. Test Track and Mission Space are two of the biggest attractions at the park, as is Soarin'. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience is an exciting 3D show. The Seas with Nemo and Friends offers a close-up view of sea life. World Showcase features pavilions of many different countries (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, Italy, Great Britain and Canada) and each one provides its own form of entertainment: Mexico features the Rio del Tiempo, a slow boat ride inside the San Angel Inn Restaurant; Norway has the Maelstrom ride; Morocco and Great Britain each have outdoor musical performances; Germany has a dinner theater at the Biergarten restaurant; China, France and Canada have Circlevision movies based on the culture of their respective countries; Japan features traditional taiko drummers and a candy artist; Italy features an entertainer that performs numerous tricks, and the U.S. pavilion shows "The American Adventure", a short movie documenting U.S. history. At the end of each day, the park holds "Illuminations", a spectacular nighttime fireworks display - times vary depending on the season.

My husband had never been to Disneyland or Disneyworld. He thought it was all for kids and looked boring.

One day I just told him we were going, combining that with a trip we had to make to Florida. We spent 3 days there - including Epcot. My husband loved all of it! He is an Electrical Engineer, and we both are professionals with our Master's Degree.

When I asked him at the end of the trip what his favorite part was, he said, "Fantasy Land." Ha! What kind of turn-around is that?

I love Epcot for the country "visits," and seeing all the most recent technology available. It was fascintating, and we wished we'd had more time. When we had to leave, I had to head West for my job, and he was going to Boston. There was a blizzard in New England, so he stayed another day by himself and went to Universal Studios. I was just a bit jealous.

Thank you Disney!

I love it. It is not all the thrill rides, but you learn about other countries and about new inventions to come in the future. Maybe it is boring to you...
