I already have the blazer and jeans... I'm out of town so I'll have to pick up a shirt and tie and not sure which colors go best with the dark jeans and blazer. Thanks.

white shirt with red or yellow tie would be preppy
white shirt with a sapphire blue striped tie would be a bit more modern
white shirt with a black & silver striped tie would be edgy
white shirt with a silk knit black tie would be retro
a sapphire blue shirt with a slight woven detail/texture (unique weave) - no tie would be kinda Hollywood

Don't listen to these people recommending that you wear ANYTHING black with the blazer. Black does not go with the navy blazer (unless it is shoes)
Stick with a light blue shirt (get something fitted, slim cut, spread collar, no collar buttons)
White, pink, yellow, orange, green, or brown will work as long as the tie matches both the blazer and the shirt.
White would look preppy. Light Blue will look edgy.
Striped Rep tie. Not too wide.
Check out J Crew, Gap, or Banana Republic.
Black or brown shoes will work. With the Light Blue or White shirt I would go with Black. It looks more edgy and urban.
Also consider getting a slim cut sweater to wear with it as well-- with the dress shirt and tie. Or maybe just the shirt with sweater and blazer and skip the tie.

DO NOT WEAR THE BLACK SHIRT...It would just make the blazer look faded. You can wear the light blue or white shrit with a tie that matches the blazer...striped (blue, white, black) ect.

You might ask a sales lady in the store where you shop. I'd pick a light blue shirt and slightly darker tie.

i would wear a light blue shirt and blue and white stripped tie, or if u want to go more casual, wear a casual blue and white stripped shirt and a light blue tie. but stay with light blue and white.

I ussualy like it as a suit, But I only wear a suit one time, Every time I wear a suit I get into a fight and it gets wrecked. or 4 different times while wearing a tan suit I got shot in the chest and I was found with blood all over my suit

totally depends on your shoes dude. tie gotta match the shoes. i reccommend a neutral color shirt with a bold color for accessories.
