Ok I love my mum to bits.... But she calls for the most stupid things and some.... Like this call to my son " is your mum home"
son "no nanan"... "Tell her my mobile is in the house charging this is your grandads Im using and we are in town"..son " Eh yeh ok nanan"... So why did we need to know this?!!!!

Her holiday she called everyday at 6-45am then 12-30pm then 5-45pm then 10-45pm.. reason to tell me every thing she was doing while away... she comes home and says arent you going to ask about my holiday? My reply ask about it I feel as though I was there wait and I'll tell you about it.... She also doe's this on the house phone and if house phone is engaged she calls my mobile!!!!! I said mum if Im on the house phone how can I talk to you on my mobile!!!!!!

Any suggestions?

Im not saying I dont love her or wouldnt miss her people are taking this the wrong way.. There are other issues , we only stay 5mins from each other she is round every other day.. She used to watch the kids for me to work but I felt I was holding her life back so got child care.. every thing i do is to please the rest of the family .. Im not selfish or ungrateful for her love. Its not she wants to hear my voice , she just calls to tell or ask you silly things then when you remind her she denies doing it very adament too.. I tell her important stuff then when you bring it up again she says I never told her, she has never really listened to me even as a child , so what do I do? Ive spoke with her about it gets me nowhere.. All I get is "You did not tell me"

I understand your feelings Dear!! Sometimes it must be very irrtating when you are right in the middle of an important meeting or a task and you get a phone call from her. She is too concerned to tell you everything she does and wants you to know that.

One suggestion - If her mobile is post-paid, convert it to pre-paid, so that the units finish too soon and then she has to wait until next top-up. I am not suggesting it to avoid her. Do not take me wrong. Its just to avoid an embarrasment when it might just crop up.

Or else, one day sit with her, take her out somewhere and explain to her how you felt embarassed in a meeting or while you were driving and police caught hold of you and so on. I am sure she will then understand this. I hope it will help!!!!

A mother that loves you, is having fun with her new toy. Screen her calls a bit, she will eventually get a little bored with it, but let her have some fun, (it might annoy you now, but in 10 years, or so, you will wish she could still bug you). Give her a schedule, about when it's best to call, and put up with the rest.

when she stops calling, you will be sorry that she did and start calling her. you should cherish the fact that however annoying it may be, she loves you and wants to hear your voice. she may be bored. don't trip because when she's gone, you will think about all of this and regret it if you make her change her routine. let her be and show her love. some kids would die to speak with their parents but they just don't have that kind of relationship with them. don't be no fool. embrace the situation.

Well i hate to inform you but your mom is BURNT. just like my mom! Even my g/f is starting to do it! It sucks, man.

Everytime they call about crap I try to sound as sarcastic as possible. I know this is bad but at this point fighting fire with fire will NOT work. It may not work at all but it's worth a shot!

And tell em Hey your costing me my anytime minutes...This ain't anytime!

Deal with it. You'll be really sad when your mom is unable to call you or speak to you at all in the future.

count your blessings that your Mm is still alive, healthy, able to travel, use mobile & still talking with you

Think about the time when you'll not be able to hear her voice anymore

Peace♥
