Hi, Theresa! You can contact the IRS directly to request either a complete copy or a transcript (keep in mind that it could take up to 60 days for them to send it to you). If you only need to know your AGI for e-filing your 2006 return, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040; follow the phone prompts, and they'll verify your identity and can provide you with your 2005 AGI.

If you need the full details, a complete copy can be requested using Form 4506 and costs $39; bear in mind that this can take up to 60 days. If you don't need an exact copy of your return (figures only), transcripts can be obtained for free using Form 4506-T; they only take about two weeks. Please check out the IRS links below for more details. Happy hunting!! :-)

Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, they can provide you with transcripts of W2 information and have it mailed to you in 7 to 10 days, or by fax if you have access to a fax machine. If you need an actual photo copy of the W2 you would need to complete form 4506 and send that along with a check for 39.00 to the service center where you filed, it will take 60 days to process your request

You can request a transcript from the IRS at no charge - see http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc156.html

A transcript will work for most purposes. As the link says, it's $39 if you need an actual copy.

Like the others said, you can call the IRS for a copy. But really, how do you not remember who you went to? And didn't they give you a copy?

Go to your local IRS office and they can print out the basic return. If you need the full return with the schedules, they can do that too but it will take a little while. (4-6) weeks and will probably entail a small fee.
