What kind of questions should I be asking my doctor? She always asks me if I have any questions and I don't know what I should be asking. This is my first pregnancy. Anything is helpful. Thanks

well if you honestly don't have any questions then i wouldn't worry about it. but you could start asking about the baby dropping, breastfeeding, dilation, early labor signs... stuff like that...

Any questions that you have should be asked. Remember that your doctor has probably been asked that very same questions multiple times and won't think it's a silly one.

Being a first time mother, you may have many questions. But, there are those out there who have done research or talked with family members and don't have any. Or maybe you have the problem I have...I'm always forgetting what I intend to talk with the doctor about. I have started writing the questions I have down and that way I don't forget them as easily.

Which ever category you fit into, don't feel bad. Every woman is different and that doesn't make any of us wrong.

Be sure to ask about labor and how it feels. When you should be calling her. And what signs to look for if there are problems. I didn't know these things with my first and I HATED calling for nothing. Good luck

This close to delivery, I'd be exploring my options about pain relief, labor methods, that sort of thing. Ask how often you'll be checked for dilation. When should you expect to lose your mucus plug, etc. etc.
