Classes that don't feel the effect don't care. Yes stock is up, but who profits. The Executives of the company. GM is getting ready to lay off another 3000 White Collar workers. Hourly staff at all the Big Three are constantly cutting jobs and outsourcing to compete globally. We have a deficit in this country. The jobs in Michigan are drying up. There are more cases of bankruptcy, people losing pensions, health care and the list goes on, all for big business. I make good money and things are getting very expensive. Heck a gas/electric bill these days a month is $500.00. The economy sucks and it's sucking the middle class dry. Just my opinion. I'll probably get thumbs down, but those are from the folks that don't care about economy, because it doesn't affect their pockets. Walk in someone else's shoes for a while before you judge.

perchance via fact one individual can't fullyyt crash an economic equipment in a democratic state, the equivalent of announcing it incredibly is that the democratic leaning congress has controlled to collapsed the economic equipment and function completed little to advance it. Heck, this would be a greater precise description of what handed off via fact the dems have been given the regularly occurring public in congress in early 2007 and then the economic equipment crashes mere months later. It incredibly does not matter what the regularly occurring public of the country says provided that a million/2 of the yank inhabitants dont subject vote casting or perhaps fewer subject determining what applicants stand for.

The war in Iraq is costing us hundreds of billions of dollars. That is money we don't have, but are borrowing, running up the national debt, increasing the federal budget allocation for interest payments. That is just the monetary cost. There is a huge cost in terms of our human resources in the active duty armed services, national guard, and reserves. By "cost" I don't simply mean soldiers killed and wounded, but also their dedication, loyalty, and willingness to serve. Those are not an unlimited resource, which Bush has squandered with his eagerness to go to war.

Its not just republicans,it is big money. We get paid ot, (overtime; time and a half)because "big money"passed laws to that effect, making it look good.Really ,it lowered base pay drastically. If you could make 30$/hr 40 hours/week and make1200$,would you still work 65 hours like you would at 15$/hr to make the same amount?

Obviously. I have a decent job, work hard everyday and it gets harder and harder to make it . I don't even have a car payment or leave above my means and still struggle. Most companies are either outsourcing or just cutting back and screwing the workers. I work at coca cola and they just told us that they are cutting the work force by 5% and they have cut out all of our overtime.
