You are right, but every one of his actions so far against the insurgents has been too little too late. He has the right ideas, but about 2 years after they would be most effective. An example is closing Iraq's borders.Why not sooner? I do not support the left and I am not a liberal, but GW is not a general and he needs to quit pretending he is one and let the military fight the GD war without their hands tied by his political incompetence. If left to the generals we would have ended this mess 4 years ago. This is the same policy Hitler adopted and in doing so he lost WW2 because he didn't trust his generals to accomplish his goals and didn't supply them with adequate materials or forces to win and further he attacked on too many fronts at once. I agree that every success in Iraq is played down and every loss is Magnified by the media. The libs are rabid so there is nothing new about them foaming at the mouth

WHAT?! WHAT?! The only people Bush has neutralized are over 3000 American troops, countless innocent Iraqi's and Saddam Hussein and a few of his cronies! Yeah, you bet I'm foaming at the mouth! They died, and for what??? Has it ended terrorism?, is the insurgency done? Are we finally withdrawing from a liberated Iraq?? Yeah, I thought not.

I can't even count all the "leaders of terrorists" that have been killed, neutralized, whatever. But hundreds are there to take their place. He also said Mission Accomplished years ago and after the Iraq election, things would get better, after Saddam, things would get better, after the election, things would get better. Eventually, it looks like things aren't getting better.
