YES!! And you have to watch them because when you get a 6", you are supposed to get 4 pieces of meat, and if you don't watch, they only give you 3! I have called them out on it tons of times! They are also pickle stingy too.

I worked for Subway for a little while. They have a guideline they must go by, company orders. Each peice of bread, meat, vegetables, chips, and even the sauces, must be made count of.
So please do not blame the workers, they can get FIRED if they get caught not making sure they go by the guidelines. Sometimes we could mark something down as waste to give friends deals. I hope this helps.
Oh yeah, the company is just CHEAP!

All the Mcfood shops do this.
Their ads make the meat items look thick and juicy, with crispy lettuce that was just picked out in the back of the shop where they grow it together with red tomato slices gleaming from sunshine.
There was a film staring Michael Douglas where he snaps one day and goes into a burger shop and demands to have a burger that looks just like the ad. Dark film, but ohmygosh that made me laugh.

Meat is the most expensive ingredient on their sandwiches.
If there's a grocery store nearby, for 5 bucks you can buy the ingredients for several sandwiches.
I'm with you; Subway is stingy.

It's ridiculous and that's why I don't like them! Go to Quizno's where they'll hook you with more meat. Quizno's is high, so register on their website to get coupons for $1 to $2 off a sandwich or free chips and a drink with a sandwich. You'll always win that way.

They're not, if you are a regular customer. Ask for an extra slice of meat! Try to get the same employee to wait on you each time. Be friendly to that person!

The Meat is More Expensive, so they put alot of vegies on your sandwich cause it's cheaper for them.

to make money off of us. But if this question is coming from the quiznos commercials, I just want to voice my opinion about their subs. They're nasty. And they're commercial says, if you're not satisfied they'll give you a new one. If you don't like their subs, why the hell would you want a another one?!?! Free or not.

I always wonder that to. I love the BMT, but they should put more meat on it...but the sandwiches are still so good..
