He's been promoting his new book and 3rd installment of his autobiographies-The Hardcore Diaries, he's also been considered by WWE to be brought back to TV as either a member of the ECW originals(not likely because of his anti-ECW remarks at the end of his last run) or in some way related to WM23. It's really up in the air as of now.

He wasnt really fired. It was part of the script. Foley is still under contract with the wwe and i guess he is just at home resting, Writing some more books ( Maybe) and just chilling out.
