K i am dating this guy we are both 14 and he had this suprise set up for us tonight and well i was so excited right and stuff then i come home and i tell my mom and she says i cant because we have plans and i told her that i didnt know wat we were doin cuase it was a suprise and well then my friend knows the suprise and i then her parents said sumthing about alimo and well i dont know if this is part of it or its right and i cant hang out with him?????

you may be sad right now but it will pass,go ahead and get involved with what your family is doing and soon you will realize that tomorrow is another day and you and your b/f can still have your surprise just tell him you and he will still enjoy the surprise its just that your family is doing something and you have to go

Oh honey, you are so young and I do understand how you feel about your boyfriend. If your Mom is demanding that you to forgo your plans with your boyfriend it is because she is not trying to be a killjoy, but because she is afraid of you growing up so fast and getting too serious too quickly. On the other hand, I would really urge you to try to speak to your parents that this is important to you because this person that seems to care about you has a big surprise that cannot wait and to please respect the fact that you really would like to receive it because it will not be there the next day and will be ruined.
