I like Madlin, Malika, and Maleena... If I had to choose just one though I'd go with Malika.

I like Malika the best, followed by Maleena.

Its sort of depends on what genre you are writing. If you are writing a fantasy, especially aimed at teens don't use Maura. Tamora Pierce, a very popular author already used that name in her Wild Magic Series. Plus, she will be writing a book about that very character (Maura) in a couple of years. It is on her website as one of her planned books.

I personally liked Maleena.

It's a tie between Manette and Maelle. I think I like Manette a little more though:)

good luck!

I think Madlin is nice (mostly because my best friend's name is Madeline.) Maybe you should spell it. Madlyn.
I don't like Mali because it's the name of a country in Africa already.
Mahoganie seems...okay. If it wasn't already wood.
I LOVE Maura for some reason. Seems nice and flashy.
How about Maura. I like it!!!
Sorry my advice wasn't too good.
=D
Thanks for reading.

I know a man named Marlo, if you're going for a woman, even though I know a very famous one is named Marlo, don't use it plz...Lol, in case I get a hold of your story.

It depends what type of story you are writing, naturally. I am a big fan of Fantasy so the names I like are biased towards that genre...
anyway, i like Mahoganie. and second i think i like Mali.

I see you're looking for a girl's name. May I suggest Dawna - nickname - Dawn? To stick with the M's, I would suggest Miracle - nickname - Mira.
