My Tragic Valentine.....
Thought of you across the way,
On this lonely valentines day.
You said that roses cost too much
And chocolates were'nt good enough,
A card would never arrive on time
And you hate the taste of red wine.
You make me laugh,
The ignorance of what you do,
But its all part of why I love everything about you.
Later on that night you came,
No you didnt catch the train.
You came to me in a dream,
Holding beautiful flowers and strawberries with cream.
You did nothing but to say,
I love you,
Happy valentines day.

6 out of 10 because in some of the lines you used more words than what was necessary and it made the poem not flow as smooth

It's good, but it almost sounds like you're trying too hard to rhyme. It's great for today though. I give it about a 6.

Ditch the title. Don't try so hard to rhyme. It was sweet and sentimental; I enjoyed it.
