that can be really embarrassing, i'm so sry! but don't worry, it happens to everybody at some point in time. it is one of those things that everyone has to go through. look at it this way, u are no longer just a little girl, now u are a young lady. be proud of it! i don't know where u are in this cycle right now, but this is how everything will work out: first, your period is embarrassing and maybe even scary. then, the girls that have started their period are the "cool, grown up girls". then, eventually, it happens to everyone and it is no longer awkward, but instead is discussed openly (sometimes even with your guy friends!). i have had that happen to me before, and i know how embarrassing it can be. most schools or teachers have "girl supplies", so next time that happens, go to the office or ur favorite teacher and get some stuff so that u don't have that problem again. i don't think that anyone will say anything about it tommorrow. that kind of thing happens to people a lot when they are ur age. and look at it this way, all u did was prove to everyone, including ur crush, that u are quite grown up! by the way, he sounds pretty nice! good luck with him, i hope it works out for u! hope u have a good day at school tommorrow and that this made u feel better!

That has happened to me atleast three times and I'm only 14. I'm also in middle school and I know how that will feel. Even though you might be embarassed, everyone will understand. It's not like guys don't know about girls having a period, but they probably don't want to talk about it, so it's not likely that they will make fun of you. You girlfriends will understand and won't do anything. Other girls will probably feel sympathetic, so don't worry. Just go on with life, it's just a small problem that everyone will have once in a while. Think of it as if one of your friends got their pants pulled down. People would probably have to just get on with life.

if nobody said anything today (which is incredibly messed up of your friends and more importantly your teachers for not letting you know) they probably wont say anything tomorrow...

i agree with the above answerers- act like nothing happened... don't bring it up, don't act weird...

if someone does say something do not make up a crazy story like falling in pe... kids will laugh at you for sure because it is far fetched and falling in pe would not give you a period like stain.

as for your self esteem- dont worry- this happens to young girls (and your ocassional grown woman) often. just always make sure you have a pad with you- especially around that time of the month... maybe even wear one on the days you are pretty sure it will come down.

good luck...

the same thing happened to me in 7th grade too. just go to school the next day and act as though nothing happened. only really imiture people will say anything or make fun of you. Even if they do ignore them it happens to all girls at some time. Don't worry about it the whole thing will blow over by tomorrow.

well your friends dont seem to be very good friends. as for what happened just pretend that it never happended and try to laugh it off. i know it seems hard but if everyone thinks you dont care they might leave you alone and not mention it as much. this happened to someone when i was in eighth grade and i know how badly she felt but sooner or later you need to forget about it.

Same stuff happens to me. except my friend told me.
we always check on each other to make sure were not leaking.
to prevent this from happening. always have extra pads with you no matter what. and try to remenber the date when you last have it. tomorow act normal. don`t make up excuse. try to look your best. everyone prolly forgotten it by then.

that was really low of your friends. you need to tell them that!
but just keep a smile on your face tommorrow, and stay -at least look it if you aren't- confidant. don't be all shy and everything, b/c if you are, then more people will make fun of you.
and i'm VERY sorry!

its ok dont worry about it. by tomorrow they will forget about it=) its one of those things that when people hear it they go "hahaha and theyll ask a couple questions" and then they dont talk about it again. you could have wore your gym shorts but the sweater is ok. im lucky though cuz that never happened to me.
