It is not easy for women to have children later in life and nearly impossible after menopause. Menopause means that your ovaries have basically shut off and no more hormones are coming from them to tell the body when to menstruate. The lining of the uterus becomes thin to nearly non-existent. And all egg production stops in the ovaries.
For a child to be conceived there are three things that need to be in place, the egg, the sperm, and the lining of the uterus. The sperm inseminates the egg, and the egg implants in the lining of the uterus using the nutrients in the lining to attach to the uterus.
Therefore, if the lining of the uterus is thin and the egg production is not happening, then it is extremely hard to conceive a child.
So the answer is generally no. But... have as much fun as you can trying! *that was not meant to be sarcastic and I apologize if it comes across that way.. I meant it in a funny supportive have fun sexing it up way*

Menopause is one of those terms people use but dont know the actual meaning. Menopause is when you no longer have a period for a period of one year. After that one year you are in menopause. If you are pre-menopausal (as in spotting irregular period) then you could still get pregnant. Until you reach that one year mark I would caution that pregnancy can still occur.

As long as you still have a uterus, I think that you can use donor eggs and fertilization drugs. Menopause means that the ovaries stop releasing eggs, so why not someone else's?
