A has been? Foley is a New York Times best selling author and he is still coming out with new books. They are great reads (but might be a little too mature for some readers). You are only a has been if you've stopped being, and we all know that Foley is God.

He can still go. I wouldn't say he's a has been. Now Hulk Hogan is a has been! This man constantly brings himself back to main event an overly hyped match where he beats a younger, much better wrestler. Don't believe me? Hogan vs Shawn Michaels at Summerslam 2005. Who won? Hogan. Summerslam 2006. Despite nursing bad knees and a broken hip, he defeats one of the fastest rising stars in the business. Now he's going to ruin WrestleMania by wrestling the Great Khali. When will the madness end?????

With a career like he has had I think he should stay retired and let history show how great he was, not how much all the injuries he's had over the years have taken their toll. I wouldn't call him a has been because I respect what hes done but I'd rather not see him as a novelty appearance on a show, rather hear how he spends his retirement. He's done far more in his career than some who've been wrestling even longer.

Yeah, if he can't wrestle regularly with WWE or even TNA he at at a high level then yes he is a has been. He WAS great and DID do a lot. He is one of the greatest Hardcore wrestlers of all time if not THE best hardcore wrestlers of all time. However his best days are behind him that's what a has been is. He will still get a good pop, and do the occasional match-which of course I enjoy watching, but he is a has been.
