The only reference to an Irish ship I can find is to this Belfast (Northern Ireland) ship which was built in 1886 and sunk on February 14th 1917. It was owned by Ulster Steamship Company / Head Line / Lord Line (After 1917) / Head-Donaldson Line:

February 14th INISHOWEN HEAD. (BELFAST).(BT 1886). Barque. 4 masted. 3050 tons. Steel. 1.25 miles off Skokholm Island. Sunk by enemy U.Boat.

Inishowen Head, 3,050grt, defensively-armed, 14 February 1917, 1¼ miles S from Skokham Island, torpedoed without warning and sunk by submarine, 1 life lost

Inishowen Head Cargo Ship, 3050 tonnes sunk off Skokholm.
