If some one is in a coma, and their sub-concious mind is the only thing present, could you teach them?

When someone is in a coma, they have no consciousness, every action they make is done un-consciously, so since their sub-conscious mind is the only conscious present, could you teach them while they are comatose? And they remember everything sub-consciously?
