About 2 months ago my van was overheating. I replaced the thermostat, water pump, and radiator hose. This however did not cure the problem. So I decided to get the radiator flushed. This worked. So I thought. It was running fine. The temperature gauge would go up and down, but never went out of normal range. It mostly stayed somewhere near the lower part of "normal". Then yesterday, I drove my van and the temperature went higher than normal. I also have noticed a little leaking of coolant( a few drops). What could it be?

You have a coolant leak. Find it and have it repaired. Add coolant and enjoy driving.

Leaking coolant may be a bad radiator? Where was it leaking from? Maybe your radiator is clogged with stuff and is just not cooling effectively.

Are your cooling fans turning on? (I'm assuming you've got electric cooling fans of course.)

A bad radiator cap won't hold pressure in the radiator properly and can cause you to lose coolant. A cheap thing to try is to get a new radiator cap. (About $10)

If you are running hot, turn on your HEATER inside the car and have the fan going on high. This will actually take several degrees off and cool down your system and help you stay in range.

If you are losing coolant, you'll have to determine where it's coming from.
