Its good to be open to what life teaches us (experience). Educate yourself; self educating is a constant. Deal w/ what you know already and learn (wise up). In terms of institutionalized education systems, its like information for peoples heads so they can perform tasks and be used ('tools'). Know and Love yourself 1st before the other stuff, so you can take care amongst the other stuff.

Some guy named Aristotle allegedly said that practice comes first, and that theory only comes second. I agree... It's like in puberty, although you know something is stupid, you just try it to find it out yourself. It is necessary to find out some things yourself. Some knowledge has to be acquired first hand... Thus to be good, you have to have felt what's bad!

The answer is both, when you live, without knowing it your educating kids, they will do what they see you. When you were a kid you were educated by older people, them without knowing they were educating you.
