i know what you mean. I really like garcia. he has been a very consistant QB for many years. I think he could of lead the browns to great hieghts. They needed him. What were they thinking. One thing is for sure, i bet they wish they had him now, now that garcia is ranked among the best. I think the best thing to do now is for the browns to go out and get a fresh young QB in the draft. If they dont want to take a chance on a rookie QB than i think they should use there pick and get solid big name QB by trading for one. But man, Jeff garcia sure would be nice to have.

It didn't really work out when he was in Cleveland. The Browns have such severe problems with the line and running game (even now), that it didn't make any sense to keep an aging quarterback whose talents didn't mesh with the offense. The Browns need to pick up some lineman and a running back that will keep opposing defenses honest, then worry about upgrading the QB.

one thing is that the Browns sucks, number two, Jeff Garcia is a free agent and he might have had a better offer. The Browns wasn't even getting along with Jeff Garcia, so he couldn't get him again. Last, Jeff Garcia has gone to a better team, EAGLES, and hopefully stay that way. EAGLES!

Because he was not getting the job done, and also b/c the browns don't use the west coast system and jeff garcia is known for being a west coast system guy

they were like 4-12 with him? hes not a qb thats going to win many games for you he can manage a game great and not loose it for you. he was also 34 yrs old then.. and garcia needed a team around him like the E-A-G-L-E-S!!!

what you don't seem to recognize is that jeff only does well when his cast is good. clevelands cast was royally bad, at best, and complete undistinguishable trash at worst. he prospers with average play around him, but nothing was going to happen in cleveland for him.
don't worry, you guys will pick up troy smith and he'll suck too...

they lost him due to free agency . but the browns might trade that first round pick to a lower pick in the first round and also for a second round pick and take troy smith

Because of free agency, I think...Don't worry...They'll get a QB this year...possibly Brady Quinn...depending who the Lions take...

He wasn't performing well in Clevland. Not sure how or why he left, but his performance was sub-par. Enter Charlie Frye.
