MY QUESTION IS ..What will happen if the...?

What will happen if the war between America and Iran start?
What is the first step that Iran can do? Can we say it can harm the unity of Israel?
Also can we say if America fights against Iran it will fail?
Can we say this war is not for political issue but it’s for religious clash?
What is the best way that Iran can do with out stopping their nuclear program?

In complete an total war one nation must conquer completely that nation. If we fight a war of attrition as in Iraq it will not be pretty. If ever war with Iran were a possibility then the strike against them must be so devastating that immediate surrender were accomplished. In truth it means destroying that Country. As in Germany and Japan in WW11. Make no mistake if we trip the fires of that war it will start WW111. At this point the answers to that is unclear. Irans decision to defy the International community on nuclear proliferation, may put Iran in a difficult position in the International world at-large. The war of words have begun for some time now, its just a matter of waiting and seeing, what course each will take. Knowing the US they will continue the campaign to disarm countries failing to abide by international laws in seeking nuclear ambitions.

Theres no reason to go to war with IRAN.
Right now Irans president is under so much pressure, that all we would have to do is set forth sanctions that squeeze them more and more. His own governemnt would remove him eventually.
That is IF he took an aggressive step towards one of its neighbors -- everyone knows--ISRAEL.

The only card IRAN has is hazbullah. Thats the only way they could damage us, by indirectly attacking us.

As far as a full scale assault on IRAN...only the nuclear targets would be hit....or should I say should be hit.

With Bush..hes a wild card. I wouldnt be surprised if he already has th plans for an iranian invasion.

But, as a hypothetical.
If we were to engage IRAN.
I see most of the damage being done by stealth planes.
IRAN counters by attacking allied locations but stays clear from ISREAL..
IRAN knows it wouldnt want to provoke ISRAEL directly while its engaged with the U.S. But Israel would lend its support.

I see a full fledged terrorist war, wqith ewveryone and theirsister hitting U.S. and allied targets more than they are now.
And I would think that IRAN would manage to get in at a few U.s targets.

As for as an invasion..I think we'd step out and attempt dimplomacy only after we took out the nuclear targets.
And so would begin Hazbullahs assault on America that will never end.

The only way for Iran not to be attacked by someone, is to stop their nuclear program. I don't think America will fail. It won't be like Iraq. There will be no ground invasion. I am unsure what you mean by the unity of Israel. The US will always back them, unwisely but they will. And I do believe it is not so much a religious clash (US being secular), but one religion taken to the extreme against freedom and secular societies everywhere.

If we pull everyone out of the region they won't have any reason to Jihad. You have to understand that the reason for all of this is that they see us as infidels and we are on their sacred ancient land. They don't want us there for any reason. Once Gulf War One was done we should have came home and stayed home.

Unfortuately we have been pitting one against the other in that region for decades. We gave arms to the Taliban to fight the USSR. We armed Iraq to fight Iran and see what Saddam did with what we gave him.

If we become self reliant in our energy needs and make sure that alternative energy is everywhere as fast as possible then we can tell them to take their oil and stuff it. They want to live in the 14th Century at the hight of the Ottoman Empire. I say let them.

Let me know what route you chose after the bombing starts. My suggestion, if you care about your country, don't provoke the American military or Israel. That's your safest choice. I'm sure most intelligent people realize the part religion plays, on both sides, it's really stupid, ignorant and arrogant. Everyone is either killing in the name of god, or defending in the name of god while killing. Really stupid. Why not get your act together and join the human race instead of trying to destroy it for the rest of us.
