What is the better brand of pregnancy test to take?!?!? Some people say the one's from the dollar store are fine and others say they're not. So what would be the best to buy, besides E.P.T., to check for pregnancy? (For those who are pregnant or have kids and took a HPT, what brand did you use and how did you like it)

I took the brand "Answer" pregnancy test 7 full days before my period was even due and it was positive!
Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

The first time I was pregnant I used a dollar store hpt and a very faint pink line appeared about 10minutes later! I then ran to the store and bought a First Response and got my Big Fat Positive! Good luck!

As long as you follow the directions, it doesn't matter. The thing that throws some is testing too soon. There has to be enough hormone in the system to be picked up by the test. Some tests are more sensitive than others, but you are usually talking about a difference of days.

I have been pregnant three times. Each time I used something different. Generics work just as well... just follow the directions and go from their. Be sure not to test too early and get a 2 pack for just in case.

Well i always took first response they have never gave me a false reading. Now with my second pregnancy i didn't feel like spending alot of money so i got this test called Accurate 5days sooner and worked just the same.

I used a First Response Test...It told us we were pregnant a week before my period.
It is the most sensitive test on the market. No other test will give you results sooner.

I would say either the digital ones or First response. The digital leaves you with no doubt and wont leave you asking.. "there is one dark line and one really faint line, Is it positive or negative"?

I used clear blue easy and think its the best. It says pregnant or not pregnant so you do not have to worry about those stupid lines. Best wishes!

i used the cheap dollar one...it worked fine for me...and then i used the more expensive kind to double check...the cheap one went right along with the other one
