If you're in UK, get it checked by Autoglass. If it can be repaired, they will, if not, they'll fit a new screen. Depending on the cost (and whether you want to lose your no claims bonus), you might be able to claim on your insurance.

In either case, do it quick. If it broke while you were driving, it could be nasty.

No unfortunately there's not much that can be done for this kind of chip/crack. Your insurance will probably change it for free or sometimes with £50 excess. Had one similar and was really worried it would shatter while driving, the repair comp[any for my insurance assured me it would be quite safe to drive until fixed. hope this helps a Little

Contact Autoglass - www.autoglass.co.uk. They inject a special resin into the windscreen to prevent the crack spreading. Get onto them ASAP - or you could find yourself paying the excess for a new windscreen.

You may try some superglue on either end of the crack.

BTW if you have more than just liability car insurance this repair is usually fixed with zero deductible.

Call you insurance agent
