Just so that the government can make sure there are equal amounts of black, white, hispanic, and every other culture working at these companies whether they qualify for the job or not! That's affirmative action and it does me not a damn bit of good. I'm a 57 year old white female with a terrific background and great credenitals and college degrees and certs in my back pocket and I still haven't gotten a decent job. They're a useless part of the system because I'm 'not first choice' for a minority.

it's no longer allowed, though you may see it primarily in government contracts, some school hiring and corporations where they feel then need to be politcally correct
