I know that in Texas you never can really tell what the weather will do because I have lived in Texas all my life but I just need to know yalls opinions. I forgot what the weather was like last year but I need to now because we are planning a wedding for next March. Thanks!

At the end of March, South Padre Island is usually warm, Amarillo is usually not. Plan for any type of weather. I live in Austin and my son's birthday is March 26th. We've had outdoor birthday parties with heavy coats required, and others camping and swimming in the local river. Beware the Ides of March!

Texas is a BIG state. There is much different weather in Amarillo than there is in Houston or Laredo. I wouldn't plan a March wedding in Amarillo without an indoor backup plan. (Well really nowhere else either).

I used to live in Texas and I thought it was always warm. You can check out the Farmer's Almanac to see what they see the weather as being for the time of your wedding.

I am in San Antonio and it will be cool then. But then there is a difference of weather from Corpus Christi and the Pan Handle. You failed to mention which part of Texas. And remember weather can change too. In January, I have seen 95 degree weather too.

Bookmark this. It is my favorite for current state weather forecast.

Early March can be a bear. Late March, you might be okay... I hope you aren't planning an outdoor wedding. They are very popular here, but you never know what might blow in from the North.
