You need to talk to him about this. When you got back togeher, he should have deleted any remebrance or anything relating to her. You need to talk-not confront or yell at him about why her number is still programmed on his phone. There may be some residual feelings he has for her. I don't know. Only he knows. Your marriage is between the two of you, not her, the kids or anyone else. I would honestly suggest marriage counseling. It sounds like the two of you need to talk to an impartial party, that can help you two control the lines, and discussion-so that way the discussion does not get out of control. If you really want you marriage to work, let him know. But he has to want the marriage to work as well. Marriage is alot of hard work between the two of you. Kids have their part in your marriage, but they should not be the sole reason why you two are together. Granted, you both brought these children into the world, but they are not the reason why you were together in the first place. Your husband and yourself started this relationship somewhere, and you both need to find out where you are, and where you want to go next and in the future. Unfortunately, he may not want to be there with you, and you may have to accept this. But you would probably be alot happier living a true life than a lie. Once children come into our lives, we sometimes let them and their need come first. Although they should be our priority, we also need to make our marriages a priority and not get stuck in the daily grind of life. Be honest with yourself...if he really wanted to be there, wouldn't he have deleated her number from his phone? Considering that it has been 3 years, he might have kept her number on his phone in case you all of a sudden didn't want him in your life, and as time went by, he completely forgot that it was on his phone. Only he knows why it is still there. If you are important to him, you need to ask him to tell this other woman to never call or text him ever again. If he is willing to do this, then maybe he is genuinely sorry and was unhappy when this relationship happened. Both of you need to be honest and open with each other, no matter what the outcome.
