Different textures are facinating.
Don't worry about it mamma...baby is learning about new stuff. It's a good thing.
She'll be using her hands more in about a month and a half.

Of course you already know that nothing is wrong with your daughter. There are so many different explanations for what she is doing. Rubbing her face on her daddy's beard probably helps her to softly scratch her face. Is there a posibility that she could have exzema (spelling??)? Her rubbing her face on pillow cases probably cools her face down and gives her a relaxing softness. At two months old she really don't understand how to coordinate her hands to scratch a certain spot on her face or on her body. Next time she has a doctors appointment try asking if he thinks she has dry skin or something. My son has a very mild case of exzema on his face and no one really knows unless I tell them about it. Not saying for sure that this is the cause of your daughter rubbing her face on various things but to moisturize my son's face I started messaging shaving cream on his dry face and then giving him a warm bath to wash it off and he's normally good to go. (the shaving cream was experimental but it works)

My present day infant has completed that from related to the comparable age. i think of he the two has an itch at cases, or, that's a convenience difficulty. you comprehend, like he's rubbing his little face on my shirt for convenience , exceedingly whilst he's drained . OR, he additionally does it now and back whilst he's hungry. I truthfully have additionally word he does it whilst his teeth are bothering me, yet 2 months could be a sprint early for teething. I basically attempt to make your mind up what he desires, a cuddle, to consume, a sleep, some teething gel, despite. Congrats on your infant and experience those snuggly cases :-) mom of 6

You can feel things differently on your face than you can with your hands. Try rubbing a soft blanket across your cheeks, then on your hands. It'll feel totally different. Your daughter probably likes the way different fabrics (or facial hair) feel on her face. She's still exploring her world and absorbing things, even if she's using her face instead of her hands.

Babies learn by touching, and her face must be sensitive to different feels. She may giggle or smile while the fuzzy things touch her. I woudln't think anything would be wrong with her, she probalby just prefers to experiment with her face right now, tomorrow it may be her hands, feet, tummy, ect. Make sure to write this down in her baby book or on a "baby's first year"

It has to do with exploring her new world. Babies can't control their arms and hands too much at that age.... wait a bit and she will use her hands. Just cherish the cute sweet moments and enjoy them :)
