You cannot reverse the actions of a fool. All we can do is hope the House and Senate can hold him in tight until he finally goes back to whatever rock he crawled out from under.

He is not a leader. He has done so much damage it is hard to believe that our country will ever be the same. It will take generations to pay for his little war, years and years to soothe the feathers of the countries in the world he has insulted. It will be a long time before the United States can reclaim it's former status as "land of the free and home of the brave"....and it will take a long time for Washington to win back the trust of we, the people!

It's not like Bush's credibility really effects anything in the long run, as it stands; when a new President comes in in 2008, especially if it's (when it's) a Democrat, the rest of the world will be so relieved to be rid of Bush that they'll welcome the new President and try to work with him or her to get back on America's good side. I think the rest of the world is more upset with and has no faith in the American people.
That having been said, if Bush bombs Iran (or even worse, invades), there is no coming back. However, he's said he won't invade, but someone just brought to my attention his intention to drop some bombs.
All I can say is, "Argh."

It'll be reversed next election when a democrat takes the White House and finally ends this fiasco in Iraq. How many times does it take President Bush and especially V.P. Cheney, to keep saying they are going to stay the course until they leave office? It is going to take an administration change and a party change to start to regain some credibility.

Since the Islamic radicals have again restated their objectives, this time with direct references to some of the very countries that have appeased them - France, Spain, Italy, etc - Bush has not lost credibility, in my opinion, from anyone who is paying attention.
Bush's policies are probably the Islamic terrorists' last hurdle in their demented agenda.

Bush only saving grace would be to capture Bin Laden. The neos would tout this as somehow justifying invading Iraq.

Capturing Bin Laden would be a terror war trophy for the world to see. It would provide Bush with some cover even though it would have no relation to the war in Iraq.

you're making an miraculous factor. What if there have been weaponized sickness brokers or poison on those shoes? all of us recognize that lots of the terrorists in Iraq have get entry to to sarin nerve agent, and a touch of that is going a lengthy way. yet that is the placement with being President - you won't be able to stay interior a plastic bubble. If someone fairly needs to get you, nicely, there is no thanks to bulletproof you. John Hinckley shot Reagan, Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy (we anticipate of), Gerry Ford had a nasty twelve months even as human beings were attempting to blow him up, shoot him, what-all, Clinton had some ape attempt to crash a airplane into the White homestead and yet another guy fireplace about 20 rounds from an SKS (which required both a custom mag on the rifle or reloading - the position become secret provider Uniformed branch throughout all of that?). it isn't uncomplicated to work out what Bush's secret provider element would have finished, although. it is undesirable type to get away capturing in somebody else's u . s . because someone threw shoes. perchance we ought to continually have an agent status through with a shotgun to attempt to p.c.. projectiles off in mid-air? :-) heavily, that ought to have purely made the placement worse, whatever - somewhat of two shoes flying in the room, we would have had 2 shoes blown into bits touchdown on the persons in the room, AND stray lead. And if it hadn't been purely shoes, yet some thing like Richard Reid inclusive of his gunpowder-filled shoes, yet perchance with chemical or organic and organic poisons in the shoes, then capturing the failings would have spread that all and diverse over the room and uncovered more beneficial human beings. I keep in mind my sisters telling me about the shoe bomber and having to repeat it 3 or 4 circumstances because i concept they were joking with me. Now all of us recognize - no longer some thing's too extraordinary to be real. i wager we would have bulletproof plastic monitors in the front of the President even as he looks in public, yet that will enhance different subject matters. the click would, in relation to a President they don't love, make political hay with that.

He still has more credibility than any of the Democrats.
Since Democrats worry about what the world thinks, what does the world think of the Democrats who want us to lose to the Terrorists?
No one trusts Democrats.
