How do you convince your Boss that he is too sick to be at work and should go home?

You shouldn't. You boss probably has more going on at work than you are aware of. This is usually the case. Remember, he did not get his position by not showing up when needed. Think of it like this, if he goes home he will still be sick. So at least do as much as he can. Most businesses today need everyone pulling 110% to stay competitive. Just offer your assistance and let him do what he has to do. Most of the time he will make a mental note that you did at least offer to help out and it makes you look good in his eyes.

Go to him and say that you are very concerned about a coworker who you think is too ill to be productive and is a risk to the rest of the staff's health. Describe to the boss his exact symptoms. When he agrees with you that the person should go home, tell him it's him. Then leave the ball in his court. He is after all the boss.

By having everyone else in the office wear surgical masks and gloves. Also keep a bottle of disinfectant on your desk and everytime he comes over to you and then leaves wipe your desk down. After a bit they will probably get the message.

Your boss must not think too much of you or respect you enought to believe you. Your past behavior must cast doubts in his mind about the sincerity of your sickness.

LOL that is a good one!!! You gotta psych him out man. If he coughs you gotta be like that doesn't sound good man you should have that checked out... you don't look so good.. you seem kinda pale..your eyes seem red.. you may have pink eye that is highly contagious.. maybe you should get yourself checked out..and take some time out and see a doctor?
