LOL Thanks, Chi!

I actually have a lot of respect for you, too - even though you drive me bananas sometimes! ;o) But you always appreciate a good arugment, even if you don't agree with it. And you gotta admit, I'm pretty good at pulling you off the ceiling sometimes!

For a Liberal and a Conservative to get along together, there has to be at least one of several conditions. First of all, they could just agree to disagree and never talk politics. This is the most like successful plan. Next if it were just an honest difference of opinion about the way to deal with certain things, it might be ok. But Liberals are so dishonest about almost everything (samples provided upon request), I just can't see that happening.
It is one thing to be unhappy with the performance of a President, it is an entirely different situation to endanger our servicemen and women's lives for political advantage, which is what Bush bashers are doing.

I have done the same. I, an arch-conservative, choose not to speak with hate and have actually had good discourse with some of different ideology. Refreshing when it happens b/c I so often point out the hypocrisy when those who supposedly stand for free speech and tolerance are so not good examples in their question/responses. My favorite is when a liberal picks my answer for making a valid point even if they don't agree. That takes integrity - a scarce resource on Yahoo! Answers

Sure. I voted for Bush twice. I'm not happy with the way thing have gone in the war but I just get tired of people blaming him on every problem out there. Katrina 9/11 etc. I didn't care for Clinton but I respected him because he was the President. Dig?
