Get a whole, wrecked '91 Camaro or Firebird with the 305 or 350 TPI engine and the same type of tranny (manual vs auto). Swap EVERYTHING engine related - engine+tranny, computer, wiring harnesses, radiator, vapor canister, cats and exhaust system, and all the smog controls. And fuel tank/fuel pump. Fuel lines if yours don't fit. If in doubt, swap it. Everything should just bolt and plug in.

You now have a 350 TPI Firebird that's madman fast!!! And 100% smog legal, even in California.

If you use a '90 or older engine, it won't pass smog in a tough smog control state because you can't put an older engine system in a newer chassis.
If you use a '91 engine, no problem.
If you use a '92 engine, you might need to take it to a smog referee for a one-time inspection and sign-off.
Don't use a '93 or newer engine, it won't fit :(
