I am attending a community college in Los angeles. How do I become a pharmacist? What major should I choose? Which schools have pharmacist major if there is one? I need step by step instruction on how I can become a pharmacist from a community college student. Thanks.

In California, you need a bachelors to be competitive.
First, you must complete all you prereqs. You should look at the schools you are interested in. Most pharmacy schools have a bias against community college only students.
Popular majors include biology, chemistry, and biochemistry.
You'll have to take the PCAT exam; it's offered about 4 times a year.
Most schools use PharmCas for applications.

I have a suggestion, why don't you go to a pharmacy and ask a pharmacist? I am sure they would be helpful. I doubt many pharmacists read this stuff. But I do know you will need a 4 year degree in science then pharmacy school which is 4 years and then an internship also talk to your counselor at the community college before signing up for classes.
