I thought I was the only one that noticed that. They also do it when trying to make a point.

The reason of why they speak loud is to yes unfortunately seem smart. If nobody knows what you are saying because you are speaking really good grammar and really LOUD, then nobody will care what you say because you sound smart. Also people try to speak loud when they want attention. Unfortunately people feel like if they don't have attention 24/7 then they will die or something. What they don't realize is most of the time they look very childish and desperate for any kind of attention.

no i actually noticed that people make their voices down when they act intelligent coz intelligent people have a very quiet way to talk

Yes. The reason is simply that if you are not sure of your self, you will speak softly. Therefore, people notice the stupid people speaking softly, and assume it is bad to speak softly. LOL, the people who do that usually are stupid.

Yes, but I like to find a way to stump them, to see if they are bsing me and or make them sound like they don't know what the heck they are talking about.

Yeah...cause they just want more people to notice them and swoon over their use of words and mind...which is actually a bit obnoxious.
