I asked a guy to Sadie Hawkins, but someone told me he said no?

Should I believe the person who told me or wait until he tells me. Nad if he never does, what do I do?

Wait until he tells you "no", himself. If he never does, then assume that the other person was telling the truth and find someone else to ask.

How long do you really want to wait for an answer? I think the fact that he made you wait at all is a bad sign. You should just ask him face-to-face, and, if he says no, move on.
