democracy is a government for the people,by the people and to the people.it encourage individual to participate actively in the government of his/her country,enable freedom of speech,press and shows citizens the spirit of concern for their voice and actions

Freedom of choice to live your life (within reason) the way you want too. Freedom to think on your own and voice your opinions without fear. Freedom to reach your full potential and only being held back by your own fears.

it allows more power to the general population

We can make our own choices.we are free.In general Communism,socialist, dictators tend to pillage there people and they have no recourse.
