I don't really know for sure. I've ridden a horse a few times in my life but I have much more experience with bears.

hey, babe....you ride a horse 10 hours a day and tell me how you walk. I ain't talking about Broadway cowboys, I am talking about real cowboys who work damned hard for a living. Hell, I walk funny after riding a horse for 3 hours...saddles are not the most comfortable seat in the house, no matter who makes them. And, if you ride a horse from a very young age, and you ride one long enough, legs wrapped around the saddle and the horse, see if you do not become somewhat bowlegged....

When you mentioned about Cowboy, you can figure it out that Cowboys sit on horses on the time. That is why they have that walk.

It is the saddles. Of course you have to wonder about the steer stories too. When I went into the military that was a disgusting story about creamed chipped beef. Not being the adventurer type, I stuck with bacon.
