how can i ask my mom to let me wear tampons sincei dont like pads that much

sit down and talk to her... if you cant do that, take her with you to the gyno... all 3 of you can discuss the matter... mine wouldnt let me either and my dad almost had a cow when he found out!!! i just did it without asking... but if you can talk about it... definetly do...

I am sure that she won't mind letting you. It's your body, and you should be comfortable, especially with that time of the month. I used my first tampon when I was about your age, and then I didn't use them all the time until I was in high school.
They are a little hard to get used to, and you have to be very responsible with them. They cannot be left in for long periods of time. The good thing, they are a heck of lot cleaner! I could never go back to pads after using tampons.
If your mom is hesitant, then be honest with her about the situation. Why do you not want to use pads anymore? Are they uncomfortable, do you feel unfresh, etc?
You will be fine!

i suggest u get one from a friend first to make sure you like them. no sense in starting a possibe fight if u wont even like them. Then - if you like them- go up to her and tell her you want them. Im assuming your mom has some sort of problem with you using a tampon then I dont think you should tell her you put one in before. I dont understand this but my friend had a similar problem. just tell your mom u wanna try them out. if money is the issue offer to pay for them.

Just make an excuse. Example : Mom pads give me a hard time and at school it looks like i'm picking my butt. Could i try tampons?

Why not ask you mom how she feels about tampons and let her know that you are interested in trying them. If she has any concerns ask her to check with the doc as they are fine to use at any age.

well i hate pads and i told her that they were sticking (the sticky part)2 me cause i would get the smallest size and there were not right so i just told her right there and then mom can i wear tampons i was nervous put u will feel alot better trust me

Just ask her. Tell her you don't like pads and ask if you can switch to tampons. I didn't even ask when I switched, I just started using them. I got a free sample from somewhere. When I told her, she wasn't happy but she got over it.

Tell her that you are getting teased in school, because you are the only one still wearing pads. She will feel sorry for you, and guilty. I know 'cause I'm a Mom.

Ask her to show you how to use them properly. Then tell her why you dislike the pads.Don't forget to change the tampon regularly so you don't get toxic shock syndrome.
