I think John Edwards will get the vote like Al Gore did in 2000 but if another Bush maybe Jeb gets in the race, it may come down to Florida again and omg 8 more years. Bush is an idiot but initially had some intelligent advisors. Then the power tripping rich little brat came out and he fired them. I've heard his numbers are so low because he's pandering to his base. Well, as a lifelong Republican, let me tell you that his base doesn't appreciate him "spending like a drunken Democrat."
I don't pretend to understand how difficult the job must be but I think Edwards has the charisma to win and the strength of character to not bend to the pressures once he's in the office and doing the job.

Our next president was decided in 1993.
The News Media and the Rich Ruling Elite decreed that Hillary would be president.
She will attempt to turn this country into a Communist/Socialist Nation patterned after the old Soviet Union.
(But I don't fault her for that. Because that is the goal of every Democrat Politician.)

I don't know who would be a good President. It seems -- to me, anyway -- that they're all the same in general, they just disagree on the specifics on what to do about a certain thing.

I think it will be former Illinois Governor George Ryan. I'm pretty sure he will be out of prision by inauguration day if his behavior continues to be good.

Despite all convential wisdom, I bet that B**** Clinton gets it. For me, she is far too conservative, and her roots as a au h20 girl permeate everything she says. Although he is not announced, I think only Sen. Tom Harkin can save us.
