How do I let one of my teachers know that I really look up to them?

Write her a little card that says how much you like her as a teacher and how much you look up to her. She would love to get something like that because a lot of kids aren't nice to their teachers :-)

Follow the other answerer's advice (and award the other answerer 10 points!) and write a card, or tell the teacher face-to-face, a specific thing that you learned from the teacher, and why it has changed your thinking and your judgement. Otherwise, the teacher might just think that you "have a crush on her."

My son's teacher is like that. We are nominating him for teacher of the year. He also got him a GREAT gift for Christmas, too.

I guess the obvious way is to make sure you turn up and do you work, a little thank you note is always appreciated. Remember teachers are people so its the same for them as it would be for your mum or dad :-)

Just tell her you appreciate the job she is doing, and thank her for setting an example for you and your classmates.
