Call the ant guys...carpenter ants like moisture...the exterminators will drill holes in the walls and put the stuff in to kill them...you've got to find the source of the water problem to quell the ants. I have had them, and now we have the exterminators come in the spring and a few times during the summer. ( It is said that hot Cayenne pepper sprinkled around the outside of your house in the spring will keep them out once you have gotten rid of them indoors). Good Luck

My parents had that problem years ago in their house. If you live in a house, you get to call a pest control company in your local area. I would suggest call two or three to get bids, and see what they say about the problem. In my parent's house, there was a nest in the attic. That got destroyed, and the interior/exterior of the house was sprayed. One thing, there may be a tree somewhere in the block you live on that has the ants too. Now, if you live in an apt., please let the apt. mgr. know asap--they will need to call pest control, and it will be up to them as to the company they use. The adults can fly, and they can/but usually don't bite.I hope this helps. Take care.

Exterminator. Those things will chew up and eat the wood.

You call an exterminator YESTERDAY, and ignore any other STUPID answers. They could have already damaged your walls and floors.
