If he's curled into a little ball in one area and wont move, but is still alive hes either in great pain or about to die. If he wont move out of a certen little area she could have given birth. Or the hamster may be guarding a food supplies. Feed it, Get it new water, and clean the cage around it to see if you find anything. Sorry that you have this issue.
I hope I was helpfull

With hamsters being nocturnal are up at night. Darken your room a little earlier in the evening and see if it gets active, repeat this for about a week, since you are altering it's sleeping pattern. My son is a night owl and is up until 4-5am with his light on. During the daytime, his hamsters sleep and even with the bright lights, they are up all night. Ours awake around 6-8pm in the evening, they used to not wake until 9-10pm He managed to change their sleeping habits some, they sleep in the darkness of the room with blinds closed and are awake in the night with the bright lights on.

Second do you think there might be anything with her? An ill hamster will also sleep longer too. Older age can cause her to sleep longer. How old is he? Syrians only live 2-3 years and dwarfs live 1-2 years.

his whole cage is his comfort zone. he should not be staying in one spot. if he is sleeping wake him up. if he's just sleeping, he will be mad at you for waking him but it's better than if he did have a problem and you just left him. once your sure he's awake, see if he'll move. put some food & water in the other side of his cage to make moving more tempting. if he is still stationary, call a small animal vet immediately. there might be something seriously wrong!

Just put food on one side of the cage and put it everywhere and make it fun for him to move
