I prefer both; the GTO had a lot of class, and the Dino had styling that was outrageous for the day, even if they tended to be under-powered and certainly aren't worth as much as the GTO's as far as the collector car market is concerned.

The Enzo and F430 are both examples of the epitome of automotive tech and are works of art. One of the local Ferrari club members owns an Enzo, and I've had the privilige of looking at it up-close. The metal craftsmanship is as exemplary as the rest of the car. Even the welds are without flaw. The 430's are the same way. You can't say that about a Toyota!

So for speed and creature comforts, give me a new school car any day. But for a collector, give me the 250. Great drive--great looks--incredible history.

Personally, my favorite would be the unmentioned "middle school" Ferraris - the 288GTO ranking tops, and a special mention for the F40.

Though, I attend a number of Historic Races every year, and I can say there are few things as beautiful as a SWB GTO or a Testarossa from the 50s coming on WOT out of a corner! Beautiful to look and and a sound that is just pure joy!

On the other hand, I also drive and instruct at open track events, and car's like the F360 or F430 are some of the best chasis ever delveoped for road cars. Very fast and smooth and just amazing cars.

The older cars have more mystique and arguably more character in their single purposed nature, while the new cars have the advantage of many more years. The cars in between sometimes represent a little of both... but also ultimately get my vote as best due to these being some of my all time dream cars growing up (sure others will relate to different Ferrari's depending on what was around when they were growing up).

The British and British Empire have done a lot of good things and some bad things too. Love or hate the UK it has provided more scientific advancements than any other country, not to mention literature and popular culture. Half the world speaks English. The UK has had a disprotionate amount of impact on the world given its relatively small size and population and the British Empire effectively created the world we live in today. For this reason there is always going to be envy of the achievements of the UK and animosity because many issues in the world today and indeed conflicts are a legacy of British Empire. As Empires go though the British Empire was a fairly benevolent one. Most people will have an opinion on the UK, be flattered this is a measure of our achievements and impact on the world.

i'd go for the old shcool. Way better built last longer may not go as fast as the newer generation but you will get a great performance.
