I am interested in getting an iPod, but I would like to know if you can get your songs from a CD onto your iPod. If this is not possible, what is an mp3 player that can?

The itunes software that it comes with can extract the songs from your CDs. Should be no problem. Actually, just about any decent mp3 player comes with similar software, so you shouldn't have to worry about that even if you decide on a different kind than the ipod.

1. Insert Music CD.

2. Open iTunes.

3. Copy from CD to iTunes.

4. Plugin iPod.

5. Sync.

6. Unplug iPod.

Go listen!

You have to first upload your songs from your CD to your computer, then put them in Itunes, and then you can put them on your ipod.

I am sure there are instructions or you can talk to the sales associate for help. Just burn your cds on the computer.
