Batman chose to keep his birthday a secret from Batgirl (naughty bat). Instead, he retreated to his Bat Cave where he told himself it made no difference.
One day, he jumped into his Bat Mobile and cruised Gotham City in quest of some diversion...when much to his shock and surprise (it's not easy to surprise Batman), he saw his name in lights, "Happy Birthday, Batman" across a theater marque.
He was pleased because it was posted on the wrong date. Batman had this thing for secrets, just like his true identity hidden deep within the Bat Cave. Bat Girl swore she would get to the bottom of this. Batman did leave a few clues, such as leaving out his CD of "The Age of Aquarius" around, but it wasn't enough.
Then Hope4Ever happened along and spilled the beans. "Purrrrfect," thought Batgirl, now I can get him a second time! No...wait a minute, this is too obvious. 'Meow!'
This time, she billed him as a co-star on the same theater marque...but he knew he would always be number one with Bat Girl. "Purrrrfect."
Happy Birthday, Batman...Batgirl finally solved the Bat Mystery.
