Just explain what it is....a swollen blood vessel cause by pregnancy. It's totally natural, and some people get them for other reasons than pregnancy. It's not a big deal...I'm sure he'll get over it after seeing you give birth...

If he is really uninformed, he probably thinks you have developed a strange growth that may infect him as well. Tell him that the blood vessels at the anus are stressed by the pressures of pregnancy and childbirth, become enlarged, and protrude. Let him know that this is normal for many women, that you can be very uncomfortable due to pain and itching, and that you need sympathy, rest, and understanding. Men get these too, childbirth is no† the only cause of hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/iWboZ
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

I am 25weeks pregnant and I have piles. I was really embarressed having to tell my husband that I had these things hanging from my bottom but then I thought owell he is going to see more of me when I give birth so I just came out and said I have these things hanging from my bottom and I bent over and showed him. All he said was owell thats normal isn't it. I don't think guys really care as much as we do. Good luck and don't be afraid of telling him or showing him. All will be ok :-) Just tell him that all the pressure during pregnancy and labour has to produce more than just the little one.
