No, it is a good time to tell someone you love them. Silly.

It's better to tell them that you never loved them and it was all just an act.
People who think you should wait probably think a married couple should stay together for the kids, too.
Additional: People think that breaking up with someone on Valentine's Day is cruel because it will leave them with a bad memory of the day. But if you wait for a short period after to break up with them, even if it's a couple of weeks, then it's still bad, maybe even worse. They'll wonder if you just waited until later to break up with them, examining the relationship for any telltale signs that you wanted to end it sooner, and probably thinking you waited so that you could get something more from them because of the special day. So they'll think you were using them and stringing them along to benefit yourself, and wonder if the next person they are with might do the same thing.

I t all depends on the situation or circumstance...
If you're honest to yourself.....any day should a good day to tell them this news. However, for some it is inappropriate....not the right protocol based on what Valentines signify. I do feel that it can be a 'blessing in disguise' if such bad news are discussed on Valentines especially if the relationship is rocky. Mature individuals would be able to put things in perspective and move on.
Again, it depends on the individual and the situation to determine if it is appropriate or not....

Yes becuase it would not be fair to that person to tell them "Happy Valentine's day" and then u r lying to urself and the person that u dont love anymore. U should just sit them down and say " Look I know today is Valentine's day and all but I cant lie, I don't feel the same way about you," Tell her you love her and all but not the way u used to. But please dont be stupid (like most guys) and say "Its not you its me" Trust me if my boyfriend wanted to break up with me It would be best to do it today becuase You dont want her to be mad at you the next day when you break up beacuase you told her u loved her the day b4.

Yeah. You could even make them a card with like a broken heart on it and inside it could say something like "I used to love you but now I don't" Happy Valentines Day Darling.
That would be smooth.

If you're telling a girl, you should be polite and wait a day or two. Be an a**hole to her for a few days leading up to it and then don't just say, "I don't love you". Tell her that you want to break up. This is all easier said than done.

NO are you crazy? Do you want that person to hate you forever? Do you want to be an asshole and make someone cry??? Call, say happy valentine's day, act like nothing is wrong, and wait a week.

It is never a good time but it is better to be honest and to lie! However, it is indeeed a cruel thing to do to tell the person that you do not love him/her on this Hallmark holiday. Why don't you wait till at least tomorrow!
