Let me look at both angles:

Rich and no friends - well you can bye what you want, have some people you know but if they are NOT friends they know you for your money and that's it, you can go where you want, and do what every but have no one who you are close to to share anything and because of that you use money as a means to have peole around you and there for they are using you and you are using your money to use them in return so you grow in a comfortable relationship with unheathly relationships therefore when time goes on you are unable to grow into meaning full relationships and have to learn how to fit into socity.

Poor with Loved ones around - well you are limited on money so you can't always do as you please. You may struggle a long time to have finacial stability and that can put a stress on you like you may have never experinced before. However you have people around you that can help you through the ruff times either with loans, give you things to tie you over, and just moral support with laughter and a shoulder to cry on in the hard times. Though you may not have money and times can be tight you will always have those who care about you to pick you up.

So in the long run rich and have no one
poor and have loved ones

I'll go with being poor and having friends and family because when times are ruff you need some one to love you and support you and you can do the same for them and money can't by that - may be a srink but there is no love there that you can cling on to.

i would choose to be dirt poor.money can only help us buy contentment for a while then it dies and we start to look for other things to fill the emptiness.that's isle why so many rich people have vises.and a good friend is worth more than all the money in the world.not many of us can say we have a good friend and really mean it.

Definately to be dirt poor and be loved by all..i think being rich and having no friends is such a pathetic and lonely life in the end...Such people are never happy.

This a no brainer. I would rather be dirt poor with wonderful friends because on your deathbed the last thing you think about is how much money you made while living.

Dirt poor, already - how can I get everyone to love me? LOL

I hope I would find a happy medium - there are a lot of people out there who I definitely do not want loving me!

Dirt poor and loved by all because at the day of your funeral, you will have thousand of people lined up to see you. You only die when the memory of you dies.

Being poor is way better than living alone without any friends or family. Money changes everyone, for better..for worse, but family helps the heart
