I want to be a social worker, but its not enough money. If I work around 8 hours a day, five days a week, what other career could I have at the same time? Preferably something that won`t take more than 6 years of college and that is a pretty dependable job. (i.e. Opening a business would be bad, because if it failed I`d be in really bad shape) Also, I don`t need a ton of time to myself, but I do want to have some hint of a life, so it can`t be something thats going to stop me from having a life at all.

If helping people/social work field is something you enjoy, how about working as psychologist.. it pays better than a social worker, yet you're still helping people.

If your limit is 6 years, become a doctor, or a nurse or somthing. I dont understand why you would want to work double jobs just to be a social worker. They make a decent amount of money. Unless your #1 is to be rich. Then I would say you have more problems.

If you want to be rich, this probably isnt the best idea, but it pays the bills and you can make some pretty good commission if you get good at it... Working as a Finance Manager at a motorcycle shop! You get people financed, paper all the deals, and get a chance to sell warranties for extra commissions.
