see i play acustic gutair and i was suppose to be studing notes all this last week but onw of my friends invited me over and hw and school plus i just did not have the time BUY what are the notes how do you read every thing HELP! i need to learn in 3 hours OR LESS! AHHH

The pentagram has 5 lines, the bottom line is E, the space between the bottom and 2nd line is F, 2nd line is G and so on. If you go down below the bottom line is D, the little ball with a line accross it below the bottom line is C. # means sharp, b means flat.

wow, you're in a bind. it's pretty much impossible but i'd say start now! I tried to learn guitar but I didn't have enough time in my schedule...i heard that 3 chords are the easiest to learn tho, i forget what they are but i hear you can play a lot of songs with them.
