I would take the ticket as the best alternative, but I wish we could get a true conservative on the ticket. i know that Gingrich is a polarizing figure, much like Hillary, but he seems the only one I can trust to truly downsize the government. Huckabee is a darkhorse, but he would be a better choice too. I wish Alan Keys or Powell or Rice would run and be nominated so that we could force the race to be about the stances and such rather than it be a demographical circus like it is shaping up to be.

I would like to see Gingrich get the nomination, but I have a feeling it's gonna be Rudy.

No. The Republicans need to get away from moderates and populists and get back into the business of being conservatives.
